Pharmacies
Pharmacy distribution and delivery
Wholesale into retail, transfers between branches, deliveries into institutional and long-term care settings, and medicines taken to the patient's door.
What goes wrong
01
A pharmacy that cannot dispense because stock has not arrived turns a patient away. That patient goes elsewhere, and often does not come back.
02
Medicines carry storage ranges that do not pause for transit. A cold chain product moved in an ordinary vehicle on a warm afternoon has been compromised, whether or not anyone records it.
03
Deliveries to patients at home are the most visible part of a pharmacy's service and the part most often handed to a courier who has no idea what is in the bag.

What we do about it
How the work is set up.
04 points
01
Wholesale into retail
Distribution from wholesaler or warehouse into retail pharmacy, with the range respected the whole way, not only at each end.
02
Transfers between branches
Stock moved between outlets so that a shortage in one place can be covered from another, without waiting on the next wholesale cycle.
03
Institutional and long-term care supply
Regular supply into care settings, on a schedule those facilities can build their own routines around.
04
Delivery to the patient
Medicines taken to the door by people who understand what they are carrying, which matters most for the patients least able to collect in person.

Can you deliver medications to patients at home?
Yes. Tell us the delivery area and the volume and we will tell you what the route looks like and what it costs.
Can you handle cold chain medicines?
Yes. We hold 2–8 °C and 15–25 °C storage and pack consignments to the range the product requires.
Can you supply multiple branches on one arrangement?
Yes, and that is usually the more efficient shape. Send us the branch list and the pattern of movement between them.
