Questions we are asked before the first shipment.
If what you need is not answered here, ask us directly. We would rather give you a straight answer than have you guess.
Storage
What temperature ranges do you hold?
Two: a cold room at 2–8 °C and controlled room temperature at 15–25 °C, both in our own storage with checks run by our own team.
Do you offer frozen or cryogenic storage?
No. Storage below 0 °C is not something we offer. If your product needs it, tell us the protocol and we will say plainly which parts of the chain we can cover and which you will need a specialist provider for.
Is storage shared or dedicated?
Both are possible depending on volume and on what the product needs. Tell us what you are holding, how much and for how long, and we will say which makes sense.
Do you track batch and expiry?
Yes. Batch and expiry are recorded at receipt and tracked against the storage location. Stock is released first-expired-first-out unless you instruct otherwise.
Transport
Do you cover the whole of Malaysia?
Collections and deliveries run nationwide, with international distribution by air and sea. Tell us the route and the timing and we will confirm what is workable.
What do you transport?
Clinical and diagnostic specimens, investigational medicinal product, clinical trial kits and ancillary supplies, pharmaceuticals, medical items and confidential records.
Are your people trained for dangerous goods?
Yes. Dangerous goods trained personnel handle regulated and sensitive consignments, which covers the categories most clinical and laboratory work falls into.
Can you collect around a fixed sampling schedule?
Yes, and for early-phase work that is usually the whole point. Send us the schedule and the sites and we will tell you what is achievable before you commit to it in a protocol.
Working with us
What do you need in order to quote?
What the product is, where it is collected from and delivered to, the temperature range, rough volume, and the timing you need to hit. With those five things we can come back with how we would run it and what it costs.
Can you handle both storage and delivery?
Yes, and most clients take both. Running them under one operator removes the handover between a warehouse company and a courier company, which is where most cold chain problems start.
Can you provide documentation for a vendor qualification?
Tell us what your qualification process requires and we will confirm what we can provide before you spend time on it. A straight answer in advance is worth more than a claim that has to be walked back during an audit.
What if you cannot meet our requirement?
We say so. A provider that agrees to every requirement has not thought about the consequences of getting it wrong, and in this work the consequences land on your study or your patient rather than on us.
