Clinical trials

Clinical trial and IMP logistics in Malaysia

Investigational medicinal product, ancillary supplies and clinical equipment moved between sponsor, depot and site, without the transport becoming your problem.

What goes wrong

01

A trial timeline is not a delivery window that can slip. A site that runs out of kit stops randomising, and a randomisation that does not happen on schedule is a protocol deviation before it is a logistics problem.

02

IMP carries a temperature range written into the protocol, and an excursion that nobody can account for puts the affected units into quarantine. The cost is rarely the product. It is the delay and the documentation.

03

Monitors and sponsors ask where a shipment was and what condition it was in. The answer has to exist as a record made at the time, because it cannot be reconstructed afterwards.

What we do about it

How the work is set up.

04 points

01

Depot storage between arrivals and site demand

IMP and ancillary supplies held at 2–8 °C or 15–25 °C in our own storage, so product does not have to be shipped to site before the site is ready for it.

02

Site delivery against the protocol schedule

Deliveries planned around the schedule the study runs to, instead of around a standing delivery round that happens to pass nearby.

03

Ancillary supplies and study equipment

Kits, consumables and equipment handled alongside the IMP instead of being split across a second provider with its own paperwork.

04

One operator from storage through to site

Storage and transport under the same team, which removes the depot-to-courier handover where custody and temperature records most often break.

Questions

Asked by teams in this position.

Not covered here? Send us the detail and we will answer it directly.

Can you act as a local depot for a study?

We hold IMP and ancillary supplies at 2–8 °C and 15–25 °C and deliver to site as the study calls for it. Send us the protocol's storage requirements and the expected volumes and we will confirm what fits.

Do you deliver to investigator sites across Malaysia?

Yes. Collections and deliveries run nationwide, coordinated in-house.

What do you need from us to quote?

The temperature range, the volume, the sites involved and the schedule the study runs to. If there are handling requirements written into the protocol, send those as well and we will say plainly whether we can meet them.
